Helping You Get The Job Done

Driveway Materials

Driveway materials refer to the types of materials used to construct a driveway, which can greatly influence its appearance, durability, and maintenance requirements. Each material has its own set of advantages and drawbacks, with factors such as climate, use, and personal preference often dictating the best choice. The selection of the material is a crucial part of the planning and design process of a driveway.

Limestone

Limestone is highly valued for its strength, durability, and resistance to weathering. It is commonly used in the construction of buildings due to its abundant availability and ease of cutting and carving. It's also used in the production of cement, and crushed limestone is often used as a road base or for driveways.

Rip Rap

Riprap, also known as rip rap, rubble, shot rock, rock armor, or rip-rap, is a type of rock or other material used to armor shorelines, streambeds, bridge abutments, pilings, and other shoreline structures against erosion or water damage. It's made from a variety of rock types, commonly granite or limestone, and typically involves the use of large, heavy stones. The stones are placed in a particular arrangement to absorb and dissipate the force of water, slowing the process of erosion. Riprap is often used in civil engineering, road construction, landscaping, and other applications where controlling water or wind erosion is critical.

Sand & Clay

Used for filling and leveling yards, top dressing grass, planting grass seed/before laying sod, and general landscaping. Can also be used for building roads and filling foundations. and way more.
